Another week, and another free App of the Week pick by Apple. This week’s freebie is Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, which normal retails for $2.99 in the App Store.
An epic adventure based on the award-winning flash game!
An icy wind has swept the Vikings away, leaving them stranded throughout the land and surrounded by trolls, deadly traps, dangerous enemies, and worst of all… troll snot!
Now it’s up to you to save them!
Use your icebreaking skills to solve puzzles and cut your way through ice, rope, cannons, explosives, slime and… err… chickens to get your clan back safely to the Viking longboat!

This physics puzzler is based on the popular flash game by Nitrome, and was launched last June for the iPhone and iPad. There are 140 levels in three different lands to keep you busy and there are a bunch of in-app purchases too if you’re into that sort of thing.
Click here to download Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage while it’s free. It’s a 46.3MB download and requires iOS 5.1 or later. Let us know how you like it!
