App Updates: CBC News, Evernote, Mint.com

A few notable app updates have hit the App Store. Some that caught my eye include CBC News, Evernote, and Mint.com.

CBC News was released for the iPhone to coincide with the revamp of the CBC News website. The initial release was plagued by crashes, but that appears to be solved in the latest update.

Bug fixes:
– fix for weather issue that was causing a crash on start up for some users
– fix slow loading at startup causing application to be terminated

Evernote has just released it biggest update ever for the iPhone. It’s crazy that Evernote is still free. Here’s what new:

Mint.com, which became “official” in Canada a while back received another update for the iPhone. Here’s what’s new:

What’s New In Version 1.9.34

Improvements

+ Banks are now sorting properly in account settings.
+ Account status bar highlights when you click it.
+ Progress indicator added for saving transaction edits so it doesn’t seem like the app is frozen.

Bug fixes
+ Transaction tags no longer display as numeric codes.
+ Fixed horrendous spelling errors in error message pop-up.
