Catch A Ride With The New ‘RideJoy’ iPhone App

A few days ago, an iPhone application called RideJoy launched in Canada. RideJoy initially launched as a website in October of 2011, but an application tends to be much more convenient and easy to use.

Here’s how it works, according to RideJoy:

Tell us where you’re going and we’ll match you up with awesome drivers or passengers to share the ride and trip costs. Rideshare is great for the environment, helps you meet new friends, and is cheaper than flying, bus-ing or driving
alone. And now, it’s easier to than ever to rideshare to your favorite places with the Ridejoy iPhone app.

RideJoy’s iPhone application is currently for Canadians only. A stunning 8 percent of the RideJoy users are Canadian, thus they gave Canadians the pleasure of testing out the application before anyone else.

So if you’re in the market for a ride, or are willing to carpool someone else, RideJoy is an excellent choice. Along the west coast of North America, from Vancouver to San Diego, more than 3000 rides are available at any given time.
