Chrome for iOS Adds 1Password, LastPass App Extensions for Easy Logins

Chrome for iOS has been updated to bring a much anticipated feature: support for 1Password’s iOS app extension and LastPass as well. This means you can now access your password vaults to login to any website and not have to jump back and forth between apps and copying and pasting.

What’s New in Version 42.0.2311.47
• Start searching and browsing faster: quick access to Voice Search and open new tabs from the Today View
• Ergonomically-designed: Pull to reload and open/close tabs
• Support for iOS App Extensions, such as 1Password and LastPass
• Easily open links copied from other apps

Also new is pull to refresh for tabs, while there is now faster access to a New Tab and Voice Search from Today View in Notification Centre (iPhone only). This makes it incredibly fast to open copied links.

How to get to the 1Password iOS app extension? Tap on the three ‘dots’ in the upper right, then tap on the share sheet extension ‘up arrow’, which will bring up this menu, which shows 1Password below:

From here, just tap 1Password and it’ll open up the latter, then ask for Touch ID to login. It can’t get any easier to access your complex passwords:
