Hydro-Quebec customers can now stay informed of any service outages right from their iOS device, as the company has launched an app for iPhone and iPad users.
The new app allows customers to find out when outages will be restored, including details such as crew status, how many households are affected and cause of outage, if information is available. Customers can also sign up for notifications for updates and to be notified when power is back on.
Contact information, directions and tour schedules are also available within the app for those looking to plan a visit to a generation station, dam or other Hydro-Quebec facility.
There’s also access to your Customer Space to view your bill, change your address and more, to go with staying informed of any company news.
