Here’s your funny iPhone App Store “story” of the day if you haven’t heard about it already. Turns out recently there was an application called “I Am Rich” in the App Store selling for the bargain basement price of–get ready–$999.99! The program was created by Armin Heinrich and features a “secret mantra” that “may help you stay rich, healthy, and successful.”
The app description reads: “The red icon on your iPhone or iPod Touch always reminds you (and others when you show it to them) that you were able to afford this. It’s a work of art with no hidden function at all.”
Now here’s where it gets funny. Turns out some dude accidentally PURCHASED the application and is trying to get his money back! Check out his account of the situation and tell me if you think it’s real. Do you think he should get his money back?? I think someone should create an app called “I Am Poor” to help the needy fellow. 🙂
