Instagram Update Brings 5 New Filters, Ability to Customize Filter Tray [PICS]

Instagram has updated its iOS app to add five new filters “inspired by the photography, art, fashion and design of the global Instagram community”, which they believe are their best yet. The five new filters are: Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua.

Also, along the bottom filter tray it now provides blurred previews of how your image will look to make it easier to pick one.

Instagram has also added a new “Manage” button at the end of the filter tray, now allowing users to customize with dragging and rearranging, allowing users to only display their favourites and to hide the ones they rarely use. Good idea.

Also new is the ability to upload Slo-Mo videos taken from your iOS device and now real-time commenting as well.

Facebook-owned Instagram recently revealed it had hit 300 million active users, surpassing Twitter.
