Momondo aggregates deals on flights and hotels to make your search easier and quicker. The simple search field, with the option to use a large quantity of search filters, will really help you get the results you desire.
The search field and search results page
When you open momondo the first thing you see is the Flights search field. This field requires you to enter the departure and return dates and locations, along with the number of adult and child travellers, and your preferred class. Once you search, you have a lot of filter options, such as airline, number of stops and time of flight departure and arrival. Searching for a hotel is similar, except it’s through the momondo mobile website and not through the app, yet.
A result and the seller’s webpage
Although momondo couldn’t find me a hotel within the app, the momondo mobile website I was sent to worked without issue. When I tried to buy a ticket or book a hotel room I was again sent out of the app and to the seller’s website. Most of the time the information I entered was sent to their website and on a few occasions (with American Airlines mostly) I had to re-enter my information.
Also, some of the sellers’ websites I was sent to were not in English, which was annoying because I’d either have to filter out these sites each time I searched or I’d have to learn to read German.
I thought the Friend Compass was pretty cool, because if I connected it to my Facebook account, it would show me where all my friends were located, and with a tap show me deals on flights to and hotels in their city.
The hotel website looks just as good as the app and the Friend Compass looks really slick
