The Telus ‘Donate the Change’ program has made its way to the company’s My Telus iPhone app, previously only accessible via the web.
This program lets customers round up their Mobility or Home bills to the nearest dollar, and donate the difference to the Telus Friendly Future Foundation, dedicated to helping kids in need.
According to Telus, the company says “we believe that when we are All Connected for Good we build stronger, healthier communities and help the most vulnerable among us.”
“That’s why we are enabling our customers to round up their monthly bill and donate the difference to the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation through Donate the Change. Together, we are empowering kids with the technology they need to succeed,” explains the company’s website.
Earlier this week, the My Telus app was also updated to let customers view their existing service agreements, plus update billing addresses from the app. For Telus Privilege customers in Quebec, they gained the ability to access rewards from the app.
