Nintendo’s ‘Pokémon Shuffle’ Is Now Available On iOS

Have an addictive personality? You may want to be careful with this one.

Nintendo has just debuted a new mobile game in the App Store. Nope, it’s not the first title in the announced Nintendo and DeNA mobile partnership (though that still unannounced title is expected before the end of the year).

It’s Pokémon Shuffle, the insanely fun and incredibly addictive free-to-play puzzle game that premiered on Nintendo’s own 3DS in January of this year.

Nintendo announced that Shuffle would be headed to iOS and Android devices back in June, and proceeded to not say anything else about the game until its surprise release on today on both platforms.

Did I mention that the game is incredibly addicting?

Not familiar with the title? Pokémon Shuffle plays a lot like a Tetris Attack or Bejewelled; “your goal is to clear stages and deal damage to the wild Pokémon you face by lining up three of the same Pokémon and removing these matches from the puzzle area. Battle and try to catch the Pokémon before you run out of moves!”

Things start out fairly easy, but there’s a surprising amount of depth to such a simple looking title.

You can watch the trailer for Pokémon Shuffle Mobile below, and click here to give the free-to-play title a download! Just don’t blame me when you can’t stop playing, okay?
