Relive Creates 3D Videos Of Your Workouts; Now Supports Apple Health Data

Relive is an app and web service which creates 3D video stories of your workouts, using GPS data from apps you can connect to it, such as Strava, Garmin Connect, Endomondo, Polar, MapMyRide, MapMyRun, MapMyHike and MapMyWalk (note recently MyFitnessPal apps were hacked…).

The Relive iOS app was updated to now let users connect to their Apple Health data, which means any workouts created with your Apple Watch can now be turned into a 3D video story.

To connect your Apple Health data, launch Relive, head to settings and go to ‘Connected trackers’ and tap ‘Connect’ under Apple Health. You’ll need to allow Health data such as Workout Routes and Workouts to be shared:

Relive video stories show your workout route in a 3D landscape with highlights shown along the way, such as when you hit a max heart rate or top speed during a bike ride, for example. Any photos you took along the way are also shared as well. Once your video is complete, you can then easily share it on social media channels to your friends and family.

We currently have Relieve connected to our Strava account and it’s great for ‘reliving’ your cycling adventures.

Below is an example of what a Relive video looks like:

The service is free to use but there’s a paid premium membership which allows users to make unlimited edits to videos, add music, import old activities, add more photos and also share longer activities, for example.
