Snapguide Update Makes it the First iOS App with Pinterest Sharing

Snapguide has released an update today to allow for sharing of guides straight to Pinterest. We did a full video review of Snapguide a while back, the app that allows anyone to make incredibly easy ‘how-to’ guides from their iPhone:

Great news, we’ve updated our app and it’s now super easy to share guides straight to Pinterest.

You’ll now find Pinterest in Snapguide’s sharing options if you have the latest version of their app installed. When you see a guide you want to share, tap the Pinterest button and then choose an image to pin. Once the Pinterest app opens, tap the Pin It button and you’re all done! The image gets pinned to your board and you return to Snapguide – easy as that.

TechCrunch notes Snapguide is the first iOS app to integrate Pinterest sharing, via early access to a Pinterest API:

“Pinterest is exploring different ways that they can offer an iOS SDK. The solution we implemented together worked the best for what we were trying to achieve with Snapguide. It may or may not be part of an official API that Pinterest rolls out in the future.”

Snapguide has become a huge phenomenon via its ease of use to share detailed how-to guides. Check out our video review below (click here to subscribe to MeadorsMusings on YouTube):
