Back in January, Telus launched a new iOS and Android app called Baby Health, geared for parents of newborns to track all aspects of their new baby.

When the app first debuted, it was only available in English, but as of today, Baby Health now supports French, expanding its offerings for Quebec.

“We want to empower Canadians with the right information, tools and support they need to lead healthier and happier lives. Our new Baby Health app helps new parents build a digital health record for life for their baby. They will have everything they need regarding the health of their child in the palm of their hands, anytime and anywhere they need it. This will help ensure better healthcare experiences through all stages of life,” said Juggy Sihota, vice president, Consumer Health, TELUS, in a statement.

Telus says for every account registered from June 7 to December 31, 2018, the company will donate $5 to Opération Enfant Soleil, which “raises funds to develop high-quality paediatrics and to contribute to various projects for all the children in Québec.” Telus has supported this organization for over 20 years.

Parents looking to download the Telus Baby Health app can also join to get a free Baby Box, which allows newborns to sleep in for their first 5-6 months of life and comes with a Health Canada-certified mattress.
