theScore esports for iOS Adds Live Scoring for Call of Duty, Starcraft II, Hearthstone

Toronto’s theScore has updated their esports app for iOS to now support live scoring coverage for tournaments involving Call of Duty, Starcraft II, and Hearthstone.

The app currently also provides real-time coverage of tournaments involving League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: GO and Heroes of the Storm.

Michael Gerbone, Vice President, Product for theScore esports, said in a statement to iPhone in Canada “This reaffirms our commitment to giving esports fans the very best way to follow live scores, news and video coverage from their favourite teams and games.”

What’s New in Version 2.2.0
2.2.0
• Call of Duty, Starcraft II, and Hearthstone now have results from the biggest and best competitions!
• Don’t get burned by lightning-fast updates again! Use the new spoiler mode to hide results and push alerts until you’re ready to see them!
• Design tweaks, bug fixes and performance enhancements.

A new ‘spoiler mode’ feature allows users to mute notifications and scores from tournaments, to allow for spoiler-free news.

theScore’s esports app first launched for iOS last March, while earlier this year received a complete redesign in version 2.0 of the app. The platform’s web portable theScoreesports.com also recently finished its redesign.
