Clover App Reveals Top 30 Places Canadians Go On First Dates

After crunching the data from their app, the guys behind the on-demand dating app Clover were interested in finding out more about dating trends, such as: where do Canadians love to go on their first dates?

The data was collected from 500,000 users between the ages of 18 and 35. It is worth noting that Clover’s on-demand dating feature needs your input when it comes to the location of the date after you specify the type of person you want to meet. Then the app introduces you to people who want to meet you and suggests places to meet based on popularity and price.

As it turns out, Starbucks is by far the most popular first-date location, followed by Tim Hortons and The Keg. Another interesting highlight of the study is that women usually prefer to meet at coffee shops, while men prefer restaurants.

As you can see from the infographic inserted below, Boston Pizza is pretty popular as well (No. 4), and Cactus Club Café managed to grab fifth place.

Where did you go on your first date?
