Waze has added a new celebrity voice to join your next commute: DJ Khaled.
Along with music streaming service Deezer, Waze says DJ Khaled will be available starting today worldwide, until June 30, 2019.
The addition of this new voice from DJ Khaled is to celebrate his new album, Father of Asahd–available on Deezer.
“Bless up Deezer and Waze for guiding millions of drivers across the world on their path to success!! So excited for FAN LUV to be able to get my voice on Waze! Don’t forget, FATHER OF ASAHD is out now!” said DJ Khaled, in an issued statement to iPhone in Canada.
“We are beyond excited to launch the DJ Khaled voice in partnership with our friends at Deezer,” said Adam Fried, Head of Global Partnerships at Waze, in an issued statement. “DJ Khaled has one of the most recognizable voices in the industry and is beloved by many of our 115+ million users around the world, so we can’t think of anyone better to safely and entertainingly guide Waze drivers on their journeys.”
Deezer joined Waze in late 2018, allowing music listeners to use the streaming service while in the car safely while navigating.
How to add DJ Khaled as a voice within Waze? Just launch the Waze app and head to: Settings > Voice Directions > DJ Khaled.
