WestJet iOS App Updated to Support Split View on iPad

Apple introduced Split View multitasking for iPad five years ago, allowing users of the tablet to work with two apps at the same time. Today, WestJet updated its iOS app to support Split View, a key feature of multitasking on the iPad.

The WestJet iOS app allows customers to book trips, view and manage existing itineraries and also review and update their accounts. The app also allows travellers to connect to inflight entertainment while aboard flights.

You may not be travelling anytime soon, but if you are, Split View support might be something work checking out when you’re using the WestJet app.

WestJet isn’t the only company that’s been slow to adopt Split View support for iPad. Google only updated its popular Gmail app recently to support Split View.
