Apple is Rumoured to Begin iOS 13.4.1 Beta Phase Soon

Apple is rumoured to be readying itself for the beta stage of its iOS 13.4.1 update. The company is also expected to only be issuing bug fix updates before the release of iOS 14 this September

Hot off the heels of iOS 13.4 on March 24th, the iOS 13.4.1 beta is being prepped for developers and beta testers. According to The Verifier, the next iOS update will be primarily focused on fixing known bugs. One that the outlet focused on was a known security issue regarding VPN connections.

iOS 13.4.1 is expected to be one of the last few updates before iOS 14’s expected release later this year alongside iPhone 12. Until then, Apple is reported to only have bug fix updates in the works to improve minor errors.

Apple typically does begin a beta phase soon after the public launch of a new iOS update, which does give this report some credence. In most usual cases, a beta is issued to developers and beta testers enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program.

iOS 14 is expected to be revealed during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will take place in June. Due to the global circumstances regarding COVID-19, WWDC 2020 will be an online event. No official date has been announced, however.
