Apple Launches New Online Storefront, Offering No-Contact Delivery in the US

Apple has launched a new online storefront in the US. Despite opening Apple Stores back up in Australia, Apple appears to be providing no-contact solutions for customers in the US who are still under lockdown orders.

As reported by AppleInsider, Apple’s new storefront can be found here. Based on the storefront’s “Everything you love about our stores is online” banner, Apple is offering a streamlined experience. Customers can find all the products and support tools for online orders.

The front page divulges some of the unique properties of the storefront. Naturally, all major Apple devices such as iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, and Apple TV are listed in a tile selector. Customers will have the option to speak to a specialist to answer any questions they may have during the purchasing process.

Apple promises no contact delivery. How the company plans to go about that is explained on the front page. The site’s details read:

“For the safety of our customers and colleagues, all orders are currently shipping with no-contact delivery.

This means that your delivery driver may ask for verbal confirmation from a safe distance instead of a written signature. Orders that don’t require a signature will be left at your door.

Because of this and other new safety measures we’ve put in place, deliveries are taking a little longer than usual. Thank you for understanding.”

Apple is also offering financing options and trade-ins to customers through the online storefront portal. Hammering down on the concept of having an Apple Store experience online, customers can also get Genius Bar support and watch recorded ‘Today at Apple* *At Home’ videos to learn more about their products.

There’s no word on whether an online storefront of this capacity will migrate to Canada. Considering all Apple Stores remain temporarily closed, Canadian shoppers may be quick to jump to a platform offering additional support tools.
