Tim Cook Apparently Gave Donald Trump ‘First’ Mac Pro

According to a financial disclosure report, Donald Trump claims that Apple CEO Tim Cook gifted him the first 2019 Mac Pro. Unfortunately for the former president, that’s not entirely the case.

As reported by The Verge, NY Times’ David Enrich published Trump’s final financial disclosure report on Twitter. Amongst the gifts Trump received, which included a customized golf club from Boeing CEO David Muilenburg and a championship belt from Randy Jackson, Trump listed a “Mac Pro Computer” from Tim Cook.

Under the ‘Brief Description’ section, the Mac Pro is described to be “the first created at the Flex Factory in Austin, Texas.” However, this description would be false as the Flex Factory has manufacturing Mac Pros since 2013.

What’s also interesting to point out is that the Mac Pro is listed as being valued at $5,999. Considering the price, it appears as though Cook did not spring for the accompanied $4,999 Pro Display XDR monitor, nor the $699 Wheel Kit.
