Bell has announced it will start reopening retail stores across Canada in certain regions, “as provinces gradually lift restrictions.”
For stores that reopen, Bell says “extra sanitation measures are being taken at the stores that remain open and, as a precaution, the number of customers in a store will be limited at any given time.”
In its update shared today, May 4, 2020, Bell says extra sanitation measures will be implemented to protect the health of employees and customers, for all stores that reopen. Customers can visit the Bell store locator to see which locations are open and their operating hours.
Back in March, Bell closed a majority of its mall stores, kiosks and select street locations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, some stores have remained open for emergency wireless services needed by customers. Bell also debuted self-installation for various services, while also announced up to 800 employees would be laid off due to COVID-19.
