Bell Expands New Wireless Broadband Internet Service to More Locations in Ontario

Bell has expanded its wireless home internet service to more communities in Ontario.

Expansion has reached small towns and rural communities, specifically cottage country in the Kawartha Lakes region and Peterborough County:

• Buckhorn
• Kirkfield
• Lindsay
• Little Britain

Areas noted as coming soon for this service include: Bobcaygeon, Bridgenorth, Burleigh Falls, Fenelon Falls, Havelock, Kinmount, Lakefield, Nephton and Omemee.

The expansion also reached Quinte West and Hastings, Lennox & Addington, Northumberland and Prince Edward Counties in Ontario.



Eligible homes in Bloomfield, Frankford, Madoc, Roseneath and Tweed can now access the wireless broadband service, while, expansion is coming to Bancroft, Campbellford, Cobourg, Greater Napanee, Hastings and Trenton.

Bell Wireless Home Internet “is designed to provide affordable broadband access to residents in smaller towns and unserved and underserved rural communities,” on the company’s LTE network using the 3500 MHz spectrum band.
