Virgin Mobile Promo Offers $55/16GB BYOD Plan in Ottawa

Bell’s flanker brand, Virgin Mobile, appears to be offering a promotional bring your own device (BYOD) plan in Ottawa, Ontario.

According to users on RFD, the Virgin Mobile store at Billings Bridge is offering a $55/month BYOD plan with 16GB of data, after a 10/month credit for 15 months. The plan also has its $40 connection fee waived (credited on your second bill).

Virgin Mobile’s website a $75/10GB plan currently as its highest BYOD option for users in Ontario, BC, and others not in Quebec. For Virgin Mobile users in Quebec, a $65/10GB plan is available for BYOD. This promo appears to offer $10/month off and add an extra 6GB of data.



Videotron in Quebec has an $85/12GB Zen plan (with a 100GB data bonus per year).

Others on RFD were able to get this plan. On user, ‘SteelerNation’, said “I ported two phones last evening on the same plan. This is Ottawa only to compete with Quebec plans. For the second plan, they added two bonus GB.”
