If you were a former Virgin Mobile customer, it’s possible to get a $30 plan with 7GB of data and extras, if you’re located in Quebec.
According to RFD, Virgin Mobile is offering $40/4GB plan with 3GB of loyalty data, $10 monthly credit (for 24 months), plus 1,000 long distance minutes, to go with $400 in hardware upgrade credit.
Also available with this is a $35 upfront including tax 128GB iPhone 11, on Virgin Smart Pay ($9.44/month for 24 months; after trade-in of an old phone worth $200 and $400 hardware upgrade credit). Also thrown in was a $50 credit to cover the user’s Public Mobile plan, while activation fees were also waived.
Quebec usually gets better wireless deals than the rest of Canada, due to its regional competitors (Videotron, Fizz) that compete against the Big 3 wireless carriers.
How to get this plan from Virgin Mobile in Quebec? You’ll need to have the company’s ‘winback’ team contact you to get it, as they’ll do whatever it takes to win back your business again.
