Eastlink Launches Wireless Service in St. John’s, NL

Eastlink has announced wireless service has launched in the greater St. John’s area, saying it is “bringing more choice and competition to customers in Newfoundland and Labrador.”

Lee Bragg, Eastlink CEO, said in a statement, “We continue to invest heavily in expanding our wireless serving area to deliver the best possible wireless experience for more customers, offering them extensive network coverage and quality, combined with lower prices and exceptional customer service.”

Eastlink says “customers can enjoy the same Canada-wide coverage as the Big Guys, at a better price.” The company says their service is built by Atlantic Canadians for Atlantic Canadians.

Pricing for a family of four with 5GB of shared data with unlimited talk and text, starts at $45 per line.

Those looking to switch to Eastlink, may do so starting June 8, in-store, through online chat, the web or by calling Eastlink by phone.

A grand opening is set for the weekend at the new Eastlink location in the Avalon Mall, where food and special offers will be available.
