Telus prepaid brand Public Mobile has announced new promo plans today, offering some decent buckets of 3G speed data priced at $45 and $50 per month.
Here’s what’s available:
$45 for 6 GB at 3G speed

This offer isn’t as hot as the previous migration promo, which offered Public Mobile customers $35/5GB and $40/8GB LTE plans if they switched over to sister company Koodo, along with $180 in credits.
If you take into consideration the Autopay discount, these plans will drop by $2 per month, and the loyalty discount will take them down another $5 per month after five years.
With Public Mobile’s announcement today of these new 3G plans, they appear to be the same as what Rogers’ prepaid brand, Chatr is offering at the moment.
As of writing, Bell prepaid brand Lucky Mobile has yet to match these promo plans, but they most likely will shortly.
