Rogers-owned Fido looks to be doling out a ‘special offer’ for select customers, in the form of a $35/2GB plan, which includes 1,000 international long distance minutes.
According to New Brunswick-based RFD user, ‘carbide’, the user’s Fido account online is showing a ‘special offer’ with the following details:
$35/2GB plan for 24 months
$60 one-time credit
1,000 international long distance minutes
Eligible for Pixel 4 or S10 hardware upgrades at $0 upfront ($20 tab x 24 months)
After the one-time credit, the plan works out $30/2GB for the first year. For those light smartphone users, this plan may work for you. An equivalent plan on the Fido website for 2GB of data costs $50 per month.
It’s best to login to your Fido account online to see if you have any ‘special offers’ lurking in your account, as they appear to be region-specific at times.
