If you’re a Fido customer that jumped on one of the company’s free tablet plans for 24 months, and the latter is about to expire, you may want to make a call to the loyalty department.
According to ‘Dealdede’ on RFD, Fido is doling out a free extension to their 4GB/month tablet plan. Normally these plans cost anywhere from $10 to $15 per month.
“I called Fido yesterday to make some changes to my account. Took a chance spoke to Loyalty and they extended my free 2 tablet lines to November 2023,” said the RFD user.
As usual, your mileage may vary (YMMV) with these types of deals. But according to RFD users following up to the post, they said after calling into Fido, they were also able to get their tablet plans extended at no extra charge. Some were also able to get a free ZTE tablet as part of the renewal.
“Didn’t get the free tablet, but a big THANKS to OP for reminding me to call and save $15 a month on my two year old free plan! They easily renewed it for free for another 24 months,” chimed in another user.
Let us know if you’re able to get this free tablet renewal plan from Fido.
