Fido Tablet Plan Promo Offers $10/4GB for BYOD or New Activations

Fido $10 4gb tablet plan

Rogers-owned Fido has launched a promotion on its 4GB LTE tablet plan, offering $5 off its regular price and now available at $10 per month.

Fido’s website says customers bringing their own tablets or activating new ones can get the 4GB data plan for $10 per month on a 24-month term, which results in $120 in savings over two years, in the form of a $5 per month credit.

This tablet plan is only available to postpaid customers with a wireless plan that has data, voice and text. Those with voice only, data only, Fido Home Phone and prepaid plans are not eligible. The fine print also says a $40 Transaction Fee applies.

The tablet plan has Data Overage Protection included which stops data once you’ve exhausted your allotted amount. Extra data is billed at $10 per gigabyte.

Earlier this year, Fido’s tablet plan saw a price increase to $15/month and data reduced 2GB from 4GB. But in February, Fido increased the data back up to 4GB and fast forward to earlier this week, the price was dropped to $10 per month.
