It’s not even the holidays yet and it appears Rogers is handing out some gifts in the form of free monthly data to select customers.
According to iPhone in Canada reader, Karina, she received a text message today from Rogers saying her account now has 5GB of extra free data per month, added automatically for two years.
“Great news! We added a 5GB monthly data bonus to your current plan for the next two years,” reads the text message, sent out today.
“This is an exclusive offer just for you to thank you for being a Rogers customer. You don’t have to do anything – the extra data is already on your account,” it concludes.
According to Karina, she is on the $65/10GB holiday plan (it was $60/10GB before a price increase) with Rogers from a couple of years ago, but now her plan is showing 15GB of data.
