Rogers for Business Customers Get Apple Watch LTE Support

Rogers has announced business customers can now add an Apple Watch Series 3 or Series 4 cellular model to their account, as support went live today, May 23, 2019.

A Rogers spokesperson told iPhone in Canada Small Business and Enterprise customers can now log into Business Self-Serve Standard/Premium and select accounts they want to add an LTE Apple Watch to.

Instructions for Rogers for Business customers looking to add a cellular Apple Watch to their account is as follows:

Step 1:

A. For Small Business customers: Log into Business Self-Serve Standard and select an Account. Go to the Services tab. Select the cellphone number you want to enable. Click the Apple Watch link. Click the Enable button. Accept Terms and Conditions. Click Continue.

B. For Enterprise customers: Log into Business Self-Serve Premium and select an Account Maintenance and enter the mobile number in the search field that you want to enable. Click the Products and Services option under the Self-Serve Transactions menu. Click the Enable button on the Add-On page next to the Smartwatch Additional Line. Accept Terms and Conditions. Click Continue

Step 2: Open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap Cellular and then tap SetUp Cellular to get started.

Step 3: Enter Authorization code.

Step 4: Add your smartwatch to your Business plan or get a new plan for your smartwatch.

Step 5: Review your smartwatch plan and tap Continue.

Step 6: Review and agree to terms and conditions.

Step 7: Add a 9-1-1 emergency address.

Step 8: Enter your street number on line 1 and the name of your street on line 2 of the address screen.

Step 9: Review and submit your order.

Step 10: Your smartwatch is now connected




Rogers offers Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 3 on Easy Pay two-year terms for $0 upfront, while smartwatch plans are $10 per month extra. A current promotion offers the first month free.

iPhone in Canada earlier reported Health Canada recently approved the ECG app for Apple Watch Series 4, so the highly anticipated heart feature should debut sometime shortly in a future watchOS update.
