“We are so grateful to Rogers for their $100,000 donation to the Red Cross response in India,” said Kelsey Lemon, Senior Director, International Cooperation and Programs, Canadian Red Cross.

“Their contribution will provide essential care and supplies like medical supports to our teams on the ground which are desperately needed and will help save countless lives.”

Telus to Match Text Donations Up to $200,000

Telus says starting today, customers can text 41010 from their mobile device to give $20 to the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation in support of the Canadian Red Cross. These funds will go towards the India COVID-19 Response Appeal.

The company says it will match customers’ donations dollar for dollar, up to a maximum of $200,000. So $100,000 donated will be matched for $200,000 from Telus (update: Telus accidentally told us $20K, but it’s actually $200K).
