Rogers Ignite TV has launched the Amazon Music app for its customers, available today.

According to Rogers, it is the “first telecom company in Canada to add Amazon Music onto its innovative TV service.”

“As Canadians spend more time at home, we want to create the ultimate at-home experience where our Ignite TV customers have access to their favourite content across genres,” said Eric Bruno, SVP – 5G, Content and Connected Home Products, in an emailed statement to iPhone in Canada. “Amazon Music is a great addition to our growing number of apps on Ignite TV, allowing customers to personalize their music experience at home.”

Amazon Music’s free tier is included with all Prime memberships and includes access to two million songs, along with thousands of stations and playlists. Prime members can also access the paid tier of Amazon Music Unlimited as well.

“To discover, Ignite TV customers can simply say “Amazon Music” into the voice remote or find it in the app section,” explained Rogers.
