Around 10:17pm ET, Rogers Internet went down in Ottawa, Ontario. Numerous users noted on Downdetector the outage had hit areas such as Vanier, Findley Creek, Elmvale Acres, Osgoode, Orleans, Embrun and more.

@RogersHelps told customers on Twitter, “Our techs are investigating the issue and hoping to have our customers back online as soon as possible.”

The Rogers Community forums noted customers in Ottawa, Ontario, had services such as TV, Internet and Home Phone down.

“Our teams are aware and already hard at work to get your services back up and running as soon as possible. We know how important it is to stay connected and are sorry for the interruption.”

Rogers did not indicate a specific time for when services would be going back online, only informing customers to keep refreshing for updates.

Update May 5: Rogers services were restored in Ottawa on late Monday but is still intermittent for some customers as of this morning.
