Rogers Pure Fibre Internet Launches in Four Communities in New Brunswick

Back in January, Rogers announced it would be investing nearly $200 million to expand its pure fibre internet to New Brunswick for 314,000 homes and businesses.

On Wednesday, Rogers confirmed to iPhone in Canada its 100% pure fibre internet has launched in the communities of Dieppe, Moncton, Riverview and Shediac.

“It is important that we continue to invest in our communities to ensure that customers have access to faster and more reliable service than ever, especially as technology continues to evolve and the world becomes more connected,” said Matt MacLellan, President, Atlantic Region, Rogers Communications, last month. “We are excited to bring 100% pure fibre to New Brunswick and give residents and business owners access to the network of the future.”

The launch of Rogers pure fibre means services such as Ignite Internet with up to 1.5 Gbps download and upload speeds are now available, along with Ignite TV and Ignite SmartStream.
