If you’re a Rogers cable subscriber with a PVR, you’re going to like this app. The Rogers Remote TV Manager app allows existing users to schedule recordings, search for shows, and works on both WiFi and 3G.
The app is free, and works with the Rogers model 8300HD PVR (8642 HD PVR soon to come), and a MyRogers account is required to login to the app. iOS 4.x is also required on your iPhone.

I’m not on Rogers for cable out West, so you guys and gals will have to let me know how well this app works! So far, Telus and Bell have released iPhone apps to control PVRs. Great to see Rogers join the club too.
