Continuing the SaskTel network tower expansion, today the company announced their “4G†wireless network has reached 16 new locations. SaskTel’s goal is to cover 98% of the population by the end of 2011.
“SaskTel 4G wireless coverage is already available to 96% of the population. By the end of 2011 SaskTel’s wireless coverage will be available to 98% of the population.â€
SaskTel also announced that the wireless company will be delivering download speeds of 42 Mbps in Regina and Saskatoon by this summer 2011.
While the iPhone 4 does not support up to 42 Mbps download speeds, an impending iPhone 5 launch may feature an iPhone to support faster network speeds!
