Freedom Mobile: Save Up to $360 Off iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro

Shaw’s Freedom Mobile launched iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro pre-orders today like wireless incumbents Rogers, Telus and Bell.

However, Freedom Mobile is already offering up to $360 in savings on iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, for customers signing up on a contract with MyTab for two years.

Here’s what you can save for example:

• Save $312 – iPhone 12 (64GB) – $0 upfront; 24 month MyTab ($35/month) and $55 phone plan; cost of phone after two years: $840
• Save $360 – iPhone 12 Pro (128GB) $0 upfront; 24 month MyTab ($45/month) and $55 phone plan; cost of phone after two years: $1,080

Freedom Mobile doesn’t have a $55 plan listed on its website, but there’s a $60 plan with 20GB of data. So you could get an iPhone 12 for $0 upfront and pay $95 per month ($35 Tab + $60 phone plan) and have 20GB of data.

It’s worth noting Freedom Mobile has marked up the price of the entry 64GB iPhone 12 by $23 at $1,152 (Apple.ca is $1,129), 128GB by $25 at $1,224 ($1,199 on Apple.ca) and 256GB by $29 at $1,368 ($1,339 on Apple.ca).

iPhone 12 Pro 128GB has a markup of $41 ($1,440 on Apple.ca). The 256GB iPhone 12 Pro sees a $45 markup at $1,584 ($1,539 on Apple.ca). 512GB iPhone 12 Pro is not available from Freedom Mobile.

Why the savings on iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro on day one? Freedom Mobile knows people want the newest iPhones and these discounts can lure price-conscious shoppers into the company.
