Shaw’s Freedom Mobile is apparently offering a $25 per month plan with 3GB of data, which includes 1,000 long distance minutes, plus unlimited Canada-wide talk and text, for new customers.
The base plan is normally priced at $30 per month, but a $5 discount is applied after Digital Discount, or credit card autopay.
RFD user ‘migotist’ said they were able to nab this Freedom Mobile plan in Mississauga at the Cellular Point mobile dealer on Hurontario Street. Check out the picture of their $25/3GB plan below:
For those working from home during COVID-19 and not using a lot of cellular data, it may be worth downgrading your plan to save money.
This plan appears to be one of those ‘your mileage may vary’ instances, as it doesn’t appear to be widely available, so it’s worth asking your local Freedom Mobile store.
Update: Freedom Mobile is also offering a $24/3GB plan for prepaid, available for 6 months, with the offer good until April 7. The plan normally comes with 1.5GB of data but this promo doubles it.
