2015 Global 100 ‘Most Sustainable Corporation’ List Names TELUS as Recipient

TELUS has announced it has made the 2015 Global 100 list of ‘Most Sustainable Corporations’, the fifth time the company has made the list. This year, TELUS is just one of 12 Canadian companies in the top 100 and the only North American telecom, it proudly proclaims on its company blog:

The Global 100 list highlights top performers in each industry, and we are honoured to be ranked 37th, up from 70th last year and one of only 12 Canadian companies on the list. Significantly, we are the only North American telecom company to earn this distinction! We are certainly in good company on this list and we applaud the rest of the Global 100 organizations. Interestingly, 85 per cent of this list, like TELUS, linked executive pay to strong sustainability performance.

According to the wireless carrier, some initiatives that helped them land on the list include their TELUS Work Styles, growing portfolio of LEED word places and data centres and renewable energy pilot programs to name a few.
