Telus flanker brand Koodo Mobile is sending out text messages to select customers today, informing them of the opportunity to “Gift Yourself”, with some promo monthly data add-ons.
Here’s what’s available until December 31, 2018:
These prices for add-on data are considered much cheaper than data overages which are charged at $100/1GB.
The text message reads:
“Hey ____, now’s the time to Gift Yourself 3GB of additional data for only $10/month, or even better, 10GB of additional data for only $15/month! Just reply ADD to get our 3GB promo or reply DATA for our 10GB promo. Offer expires on December 31, 2018. You’re included on the list for Koodo offers and deals.”

As for who’s eligible to receive this data offer? It appears to be targeting those who previously jumped on a Public Mobile to Koodo migration plan.
