Last month, Public Mobile announced select ready-made 3G plans were set to expire, including $25/1GB and $40/5GB offerings.
As of this morning, these two plans have returned to the Public Mobile website, so the absence wasn’t exactly that long.
These two plans include unlimited Canada-wide talk and unlimited international text and picture messaging, to go with voicemail and call display.
Here’s the breakdown of each plan…

If you setup Autopay, which is linking your credit card for automatic pre-authorized payments, you save an additional $2 every 30-days, so these plans drop to $23 and $38 respectively.
The $23 plan with 1GB of data—despite being 3G—with unlimited talk and text, may be a decent plan for your kids or casual smartphone users. Public Mobile does not have a 3G network, so you’re really on the Telus nationwide LTE network but with throttled 3G speeds.
As of writing, Lucky Mobile has similar plans as above, but Chatr does not (yet).
