Telus’ prepaid brand, Public Mobile, is offering up a “limited time” flash sale, where users can get a one-time 3GB data bonus.
What’s the catch? You need to activate a $25/month plan or higher, plus submit your email to subscribe to the company’s newsletter.

“Submit your email below between May 26-28, 2020. Make sure to activate with this email address by June 12, 2020,” explains the Public Mobile website. Users of course are able to unsubscribe at any time.
A $25 per month plan currently comes unlimited nationwide talk and international text with 500MB of 3G speed data, while an extra 500MB is provided if you set up AutoPay (preauthorized credit card payments). The one-time bonus will give you 3GB data to use.
Public Mobile says this promo is not stackable with other offers and is only available with online activations. You can buy a SIM card online on Amazon.
Earlier this month, Public Mobile similarly leveraged its email mailing list as a requirement to get new customers their next 30 days free.
