Telus-owned Public Mobile has launched a new $70/15GB plan on Thursday, which includes 3G speed data, unlimited Canada/USA calling and unlimited international SMS/MMS.
For those that sign up with Autopay (pre-authorized credit card billing), you can get 500MB bonus data, taking your total data to 15.5GB.
Those looking to switch plans can do so via online self-serve, by changing to the “$70 for 15GB + 500MB AutoPay Bonus” ready-made plan. The switch can be done immediately or at your next renewal date.
Previously, Public Mobile plans offered up to 10GB max, but this new plan increases it to 15GB, albeit at 3G speeds.
Public Mobile also has a promo offering a 2GB/month bonus when you register your email on the company’s homepage, taking this plan to $70/17GB.
Rogers’ Chatr and Bell’s Lucky Mobile also have a 2GB bonus right now, but only for six months (Father’s Day ‘promo’). These companies are also offering the same $70/15GB 3G speed plan as Public Mobile. But these companies offer throttled 128 Kbps data once you exceed your original data bucket.
