Public Mobile, Telus’s prepaid cellular brand, has launched a Lunar New Year deal that offers 16GB of bonus data spread out over 8 months (2GB per month) to new customers who activate their phone plans online.
“Get a 2GB data bonus every month for 8 months on any plan $25/mo or more online,” explains the Public Mobile website.
According to the fine print, this offer applies to all plans that cost $25 or more per month and are activated online using a promo code for the deal. Any bonus data awarded to your Public Mobile account as part of this offer will expire if your account becomes inactive or if you change your rate plan.
If you’re interested in this offer, you can get a promo code for it by simply submitting your email address on the company’s website before February 2.
You can use the promo code to activate your phone plan and get your bonus data until March 1, but be sure to use the same email you submitted for the promotion during activation.
Earlier this week, Public Mobile said it would be launching a new rewards points program soon.
