Telus Offers $15/3GB Top-Up For Those Exceeding High Speed ‘Unlimited’ Data

Telus peace of mind plans

Telus Peace of Mind plans offer ‘unlimited’ data, but high-speed LTE is limited to certain data amounts each month. Once users exceed their allotted amounts, data is throttled to 512 Kbps.

Today, Telus has launched a data top-up named Fast Pass, which lets users purchase more high-speed data at the price of $15 for 3GB, once they hit their Peace of Mind monthly data limit.

A Telus spokesperson told iPhone in Canada in the “coming weeks”, customers will start to get notifications to purchase a Fast Pass once they reach their high-speed data threshold.

Telus Peace of Mind plans start at $75 per month with 10GB of high-speed data, which once reached, gets throttled to 512 Kbps, similar to other no overage plans from Rogers and Bell.
