Telus Now Sells Masks with Critter/Nature Designs, Proceeds for COVID-19 Relief

Telus has launched the sale of reusable masks with themes of the company’s “loveable critters” and also nature themes, available online and at stores.

The company says proceeds from sales will head to the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation, supporting COVID-19 relief efforts across Canada.

Telus says a 3-pack of dual-layered masks in adult or youth sizes costs $45 and includes free shipping and are final sale. The masks are made in Canada from recycled polyester (outside) and organic cotton (inside), made according to standards of the TELUS Medical Advisory Council.

“With proceeds of these limited time masks being donated to the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation, we can continue to provide much-needed support for our healthcare workers and vital COVID-19 community response efforts across Canada, while doing our part to safeguard our communities,” said Darren Entwistle, President and CEO, TELUS, in a statement.

The following mask designs are available while supplies last—there is a Telus logo on each mask:

  • Ode to Nature Pack (Butterfly, Hummingbird, Panda); adult only
  • Faces of Safari (Cheetah, Hippo, Giraffe)
  • Fan Favourites (Duck, Bunny, Critter crew)

“Please note that these friendly critter masks are not a substitute for a medical mask such as the N95 or personal protective equipment (PPE),” explains the Telus website.
