
Videotron says customers affected by spring flooding in Quebec can temporarily suspend their services, free of charge.
Normally, a suspension fee is required to pause residential and business services, but “As a gesture of support for the people affected by spring flooding in many parts of Québec,” Videotron says extra charges will be waived, “for the duration of their evacuation.”
Videotron says all services can be temporarily suspended for up to six months at no extra charge—except mobile services. Customers in the following areas are eligible for free suspension of their Videotron services:
- Centre-du-Québec
- Chaudière-Appalaches
- Eastern Townships
- Lanaudière
- Laurentians
- Outaouais
- Greater Montréal region
Customers are being told to contact 1-88VIDEOTRON (residential customers) or 1-877-512-8590 (business customers) for more information and to pause their services.
