Random August iPhone App Giveaway!

After the horrible news this morning, I thought a giveaway might raise a few spirits.

For those that do not know what this giveaway is about, this is what you need to know.

It is a new segment that will:

  • Last 24 hours
  • Only happen a couple of times a month (maybe less or maybe more)
  • Be extremely easy to win
  • Be posted at random (so no more 3AM internet lurking for our contests!)

If you’re really keen, you can read the inaugural post here where we gave away four copies of the iPhone game ThreadBound!

What’s up for grabs today?

Due to the popularity of this past week GolfCard app, I am giving away TWO (2) more promo codes for the iPhone app ‘GolfCard‘. You may recall my review of it here.

GolfCard provides a very large feature list with many options within each. The app has extremely detailed course information and allows you to record your own statistics during the game, as well as calculating some for you. The app even includes a Range Finder which provides you with up to 10 markers per hole, satellite viewing modes of the tee, fairway and green, pinching/zooming finger gestures and using your finger to see distances to any point from your current location!

This fully loaded app is available as a Lite version in the iTunes App Store for $0.99 or as a full version for $7.99, but today you can get it for FREE!
