Amazon Echo Devices on Sale, Including Echo Auto and More

Amazon Canada has a sale right now on its Echo devices, offering bundle discounts if you buy more than one on select devices.

Here’s what’s on sale:

• Echo Show 5 – Compact smart display with Alexa – $74.99 (save $25; 25%)
• Echo Show 8 – HD 8″ smart display with Alexa – $114.99 (save $55; 32%); buy 2 and save $20 with promo code SHOW82PACK
• Echo Auto – $44.99 (save $25; 36%)
• Echo Plus (2nd gen) – $99.99 (save $100; 50%)

If you buy two Echo Show 8 units, then you save an extra $20 off, which takes it down to $104.99 each. Not the lowest price we’ve seen but still a decent price.

As for Echo Plus (2nd gen), this 50% off discount makes it the lowest price ever on Amazon.ca, while Echo Auto which recently launched in Canada gets its first sale, also the lowest price on the site.

We managed to test Echo Auto and it does work as advertised, bringing Alexa to the car. Echo Auto worked fine alongside Apple CarPlay, allowing control of music and playing songs from linked services such as Spotify. Echo Auto had no trouble connecting automatically to our iPhone every time we stepped into the car.
